In July 2007 I moved to Commerce, Texas to begin teaching at Texas A&M University. As a way of trying to find my place here, I started photographing the campus and the community. One of the things that I love about it here is that it’s full of opportunity. And I don’t know why, but I truly do love it. Even in all its goofiness, we’re a good fit.
